Your Union is at your service as it has been since July 3, 1936 when it occupied a one-room rental office in Long Beach and represented fewer than 2,000 members. From that small but determined beginning has emerged the Union we have today.
The wages, benefits and working conditions set forth by your Union represents years of progress, won by the blood, sweat and tears of thousands who came before us. Sacrifice and solidarity created all that we have today in the workplace. Our best hope to keep what we have and to continue our steady record of improvements is to assure that Employers honor their agreements completely.
